Most of our church life together is not programmed, but happens as we meet for coffee, eat together, and support one another day to day.
The same is true of our mission: we want to represent Jesus, and present the good news about him, in the everyday contexts where we find ourselves. But there are some things that we organise and run together.
We meet on Sundays at 4pm, at The Venue@Cowley on Barns Road.
This is our weekly celebration around God’s Word, listening together to his voice and bringing him our worship. We take Communion together on the first and third Sundays of the month.
There is also a mini-CCC group for children under 11.
Turn up ready to engage with God and one another.
These are small groups meeting in homes (we have groups meeting on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays), bringing God’s Word to bear on our daily lives as we encourage each other, pray for each other, and plan mission together.
We encourage everyone connected to the church to be part of a homegroup, even if you can’t get along regularly. Speak to one of the Elders, who will arrange for you to join a group.
First Monday prayer meetings
We meet every first-Monday of the month, to pray for our church, our community, our mission partners, and national and international concerns, believing that God hears and is able to bring change.
Turn up ready to pray, and if you can’t get there, pray where you are!
